Pentagon Seeks $850 Billion Budget for Fiscal Year 2025
The Pentagon has requested a transfer of $849.8 billion from the White House’s budget proposal for the 2025 fiscal year, starting October 1. This budget proposal includes government expenditures, with a 1 percent increase in defense expenditures compared to the previous year. The allocation of funds sees the Navy receiving the largest share of $209 billion, followed by the Air Force, Land Forces, Marine Corps, and Space Force.
