Peskov Accuses USA of Kremlin Drone Attacks
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has accused the US of being behind the recent alleged drone attacks on the Kremlin. Speaking to reporters in Moscow, Peskov dismissed the suggestions of some US and Ukrainian officials that the attacks may have been fake, describing the claims as “extremely ridiculous”. Peskov also claimed that Ukraine was taking its orders from Washington. “Kyiv is doing as it is told”, he said. Peskov added that he could not reveal details of Russia’s response to the attacks, but warned the US not to get directly involved in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin is reportedly still carrying out his duties in the Kremlin, with his address to the parade on May 9 expected to go ahead as planned.
