Poland to Establish Visa Center in Tashkent for Uzbekistan Workforce

Uzbekistan’s Ambassador, Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev, recently met with Wojciech Zajączkowski, Director of the Asia-Pacific Department at Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and his deputy Marek Całka to discuss the current status and future potential of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting was fruitful, with the Polish representatives expressing contentment at the positive advancements in mutually beneficial relations, particularly in trade, economic, and investment sectors, which are key areas of focus for both nations.

It was noted during the discussions that the bilateral trade turnover has been steadily increasing each year, with a growing number of joint investment projects indicating the trust and confidence that Polish entrepreneurs have in the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan.

Furthermore, the Polish side expressed interest in attracting labor migrants from Uzbekistan, leading to talks about establishing a visa center for the Polish Embassy in Uzbekistan.

After fruitful talks, both parties agreed to continue enhancing their cooperation in various sectors and to plan joint events for the upcoming year. This reflects the commitment of both Uzbekistan and Poland to strengthen their partnership and work towards mutual benefit and growth.
