Police crackdown on FETÖ in 19 provinces: 34 suspects arrested in Operation ‘Clamp-26’
Operations against the Fethullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) are continuing with determination, as Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared the details of the recent operations on his social media account.
The ‘Clamp-26’ operations were carried out in 19 provinces, resulting in the arrest of 34 suspects and the seizure of a large amount of digital material. It was discovered that these individuals were part of the organization’s so-called secret military and security structures, communicated using payphones and utilized the organization’s crypto communication program, “ByLock”. Additionally, they had previous criminal records within the scope of FETO investigations.
Minister Yerlikaya praised the police officers involved in the operations, stating, “We will not allow FETO members to succeed. Our efforts against terrorist organizations and their collaborators will persist with unwavering resolve.”
The fight against FETO and other terrorist organizations remains a top priority for Turkish authorities, as they work to ensure the safety and security of the nation.
