The Provincial Police Department Anti-Narcotics Branch recently made a significant bust after receiving information about a drug transaction in the city. Following the tip-off, the teams caught a suspect red-handed as he was handing over a battery, which was later found to contain 11 kilograms of cannabis, to another individual on the D-400 highway.
The two suspects, identified as SA (30) and M.F (23), were taken into custody by the police following the discovery. After the necessary procedures were completed at the police station, the suspects were brought before an on-call judge who decided to place them under arrest.
The successful operation conducted by the Anti-Narcotics Branch highlights the diligent efforts of law enforcement to combat drug trafficking in the region.
