Police Take Down Poison Traffickers in Sarıyer – Top News Story
Police in Istanbul have conducted a successful operation against poison traffickers who were spreading drugs on household items. The operation took place in the Sarıyer district, where authorities seized kilograms of drugs, an unlicensed gun, and cartridges.
The suspects had turned their rooms into drug fields by spreading drugs on furniture such as dressers, cribs, sofas, and carpets. During the raid, one of the suspects, who had a criminal record, was arrested and sent to prison. The other suspect was released on judicial control.
This is just one of the many successful operations carried out by law enforcement agencies to crack down on drug trafficking in Turkey. In a separate incident in Balıkesir, four suspects were caught in a drug operation and subsequently arrested.
