Postponement of Interim Decision in Isias Hotel Case
The Isias Hotel case, which was scheduled to be heard at the Adıyaman 3rd High Criminal Court, has been postponed in order to come to an interim decision. The hearing was adjourned until 21:30 Turkish time to allow for further deliberation.
During the proceedings, the defense lawyers of the defendants presented their arguments. They heard from the detained defendant Erdem Yıldız, who claimed to have been an architect for 30 years and denied any involvement in the statics of the construction. Yıldız emphasized that the accusations against him were general and requested his release.
Additionally, the responsible technical officer Halil Bağcı, claimed to be unaware of the owner and construction of the hotel. Bağcı and his lawyers also requested his release, arguing that he was innocent and flawless.
