Iran and Turkmenistan Strengthen Economic Relations
During a meeting with Turkmenistan’s Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Hojamyrat Geldimyradov, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed optimism about the potential for increasing trade between the two countries. The meeting took place in Tehran as part of the Third Caspian Economic Summit, where discussions were held on enhancing economic cooperation.
President Pezeshkian highlighted the existing opportunities for deepening bilateral relations between Iran and Turkmenistan, emphasizing that with proper activation, the trade turnover between the two nations could significantly increase. In response, Deputy Prime Minister Geldimyradov commended the organization of the Caspian Economic Forum and expressed confidence that the outcomes of the summit would lead to substantial progress in regional cooperation.
