
President Aliyev Visits Sturgeon Breeding Farm in Neftchala Village.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva recently visited the Sturgeon Breeding Farm owned by “Azerbaijan Fish Farm” LLC in the Neftchala district of Azerbaijan. During the visit, they were informed about the conditions created for the breeding of sturgeons and the finished products.
The farm, which occupies an area of 58.6 hectares, has received an investment of about 16 million manats and provides employment to 115 people. The employees at the farm receive an average monthly salary of AZN 600.
The Sturgeon Breeding Farm is crucial for Azerbaijan’s economy, as it plays a significant role in increasing the country’s fish production. The fish production industry in Azerbaijan has been experiencing significant growth in recent years, with increased investments and government support.
