President Ersin Tatar Encourages Youth Participation in Merit International Football Festival
President Ersin Tatar recently attended the cup and medal ceremony of the 2nd Merit International Football Festival, which brought together 9 primary schools from the Kyrenia Region. The event, held at Karaoglanoglu Orhan Dural Stadium, aimed to promote sports activities among children and foster a sense of camaraderie and competition.
During his speech at the event, President Tatar highlighted the importance of engaging children in sports activities and congratulated the young participants for their efforts in the festival. He expressed his wishes for their future success and thanked the organizers for their hard work in putting together the event.
President Tatar emphasized his administration’s commitment to supporting children’s well-being and development, stating, “We love and value children. Your happiness is our happiness and that of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.” He stressed the significance of sports and other extracurricular activities in promoting social communication and education among young individuals.
