Presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan Honor Cultural and Artistic Figures
Leader’s State Visit to Tajikistan Includes Award Ceremony for Cultural and Artistic Figures
As part of the state visit of the leader of our country to Tajikistan, an award ceremony was held to honor individuals for their contributions to preserving and promoting the common historical heritage, spiritual values, and traditions of both nations. The ceremony also aimed to recognize efforts in strengthening the bonds of friendship between the two fraternal peoples.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President Emomali Rahmon awarded honorary titles to a select group of cultural and artistic figures from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Among the recipients were individuals who have made significant contributions to the cultural and artistic landscape of both countries.
The title of “People’s Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was awarded to several distinguished individuals, including the rector of the National Conservatory of Tajikistan, Mirali Dustizoda, and the head of the ensemble “Shashmakom” named after F. Shakhobov, Furkat Saidzoda. Similarly, the title of “People’s Hafiz of Tajikistan” was bestowed upon notable figures such as Munojatkhon Yulchiyeva and Ozodbek Nazarbekov from Uzbekistan.
During the ceremony, the heads of state presented badges of honorary titles to the deserving recipients, acknowledging their valuable contributions to the cultural and artistic exchange between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. The event served as a testament to the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
