Ranking of the World’s Busiest Airports Unveiled
The world’s busiest airports have been revealed, with Istanbul Airport making it to the list of the top 10 busiest airports in 2023.
According to the Airports Council International (ACI World), Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in the USA has been named the busiest airport in the world. This was followed by Dubai Airport in Dubai and Dallas/Fort Worth Airport in the USA.
Other airports that made it to the list include Heathrow Airport in London, Haneda International Airport in Japan, and Denver International Airport in the USA.
Istanbul Airport also secured a spot in the top 10 busiest airports, highlighting its growing importance as a major travel hub.
The rankings were based on passenger traffic and the number of flights handled by each airport throughout the year.
