Recorded: 34 Transactions in Orient Last Week

Last week, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan saw a total of 34 transactions taking place during its trading sessions.

Representatives from countries such as Turkiye, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates, and Malta purchased various products including road petroleum bitumen, liquefied gas, aviation kerosene, polypropylene, and low-sulfur fuel oil from the “Turkmennebit” State Concern using freely convertible currency.

Similarly, calico and grey cloth, cotton yarn, and cotton fiber were also sold for freely convertible currency to buyers from Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey. The total value of these transactions exceeded 38 million 127 thousand United States dollars.

On the domestic front, local businesses procured autoclaved aerated concrete blocks, base oil, road petroleum bitumen from “Turkmennebit” SC, as well as textile production waste, cotton yarn, co-extrusion packaging film, and cotton fiber for a total sum of 72 million 880 thousand Turkmen manats.
