Republic of Kazakhstan Ambassador Accredited in Turkmenistan
The Republic of Kazakhstan has appointed a new Ambassador to Turkmenistan, with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov welcoming Nurlan Nogayev to the country. Nogayev presented his credentials to the head of state, conveying warm greetings from the leader of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
During their meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Nurlan Nogayev discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations between the two countries. They highlighted the cooperation within international organizations such as the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and the CIS space.
The leaders also focused on trade and economic relations, with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressing Turkmenistan’s interest in further developing this cooperation, particularly in the energy and transport sectors. They both recognized the opportunities for mutually beneficial projects given the natural resources and geographical advantages of both nations.
Cultural and humanitarian ties were also emphasized, with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noting Turkmenistan’s celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the renowned poet Magtymguly Fragi this year.
Nurlan Nogayev expressed his gratitude for the meeting and assured the President of his commitment to enhancing the friendly relations and cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan during his tenure as Ambassador.
