Retired National Security Officers Convene with Kamchybek Tashiev

The head of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) Kamchybek Tashiev recently led a meeting with veterans of the security services. Attendees included former employees of the Committee of State Security, the Ministry of National Security, and the National Security Service, as reported by the state committee’s press center.

During the meeting, Tashiev provided updates on the ongoing reforms in the country, the SCNS’s efforts to protect the state and society’s interests, and measures taken to combat organized crime and corruption. He also highlighted initiatives to reclaim unlawfully privatized assets for state ownership and maintain stability within the country.

The SCNS Chairman addressed the international military-political landscape and discussed collaboration with partners in the CIS, CSTO, and SCO. He underscored the valuable contributions of veterans and other public organizations to Kyrgyzstan’s progress and the enhancement of the population’s well-being.

To conclude the meeting, Tashiev hosted a dinner in honor of the veterans, expressing gratitude for their dedicated service and active involvement in societal affairs. Prior to this gathering, the SCNS head had engaged in discussions with former officials who held leadership positions in the Ministry of National Security, the National Security Service, and the State Committee for National Security, along with retired Generals who served as deputies.
