Revised Military and Service Regulations
Several changes have been made to presidential decrees regarding military service, introducing new restrictions for potential candidates.
One of the key amendments applies to the Regulations on Service in Internal Affairs Agencies. Citizens interested in joining these agencies will now receive detailed information about the restrictions outlined in the Law “On Internal Affairs Agencies.” Those who agree to these restrictions and meet the specific requirements of the ministry will be considered for service.
Similarly, the Regulations on Service in the Customs Service have been updated to include stricter regulations. Citizens who do not adhere to the restrictions set by the legislation governing service in customs authorities or do not meet the special requirements will not be accepted for service.
Moreover, changes have also been made to the Regulations on the Procedure for Military Service by Citizens. Individuals looking to enlist in contract military service will now receive information about the restrictions outlined in the Law “On General Military Duty and Military Service,” as well as the terms of military service. Candidates who accept these restrictions and meet the requirements of the ministries will be eligible for contract military service.
These amendments and additions aim to ensure that individuals who join the military or other security agencies are fully aware of the restrictions and requirements involved, ultimately strengthening the effectiveness and professionalism of these institutions.
