Robotic Technology Enhances Turkish Defense Industry Vehicles in Field Operations
SAHA EXPO 2024 to Showcase New Defense and Technology Products
Exciting new advancements in the field of defense and technology are set to be unveiled at the upcoming SAHA EXPO International Defense, Aerospace Industry Fair 2024. The event, scheduled to take place from 22-26 October, will feature a range of innovative products and applications, with global communication support from Anadolu Agency.
One of the noteworthy participants at SAHA EXPO 2024 will be Ad Astra Technology Group (AATG), established just one year ago by Uğur Coşkun, a renowned entrepreneur in the defense and aerospace sector. AATG will showcase a variety of products developed in collaboration with its ecosystem partners.
Among the highlights of the event will be the introduction of manned and unmanned vehicles created by Quadrobotics and TS Tech companies under AATG Holding. These vehicles, along with their collaborative operational concept, will be presented for the first time at the exhibition.
TS Tech, in response to current defense industry requirements and technological advancements, has developed a family of lightweight tactical wheeled vehicles designed for both manned and unmanned use. The product lineup includes vehicles ranging from 1400 to 200 kilograms in payload capacity.
These vehicles come equipped with features such as autonomous movement capability and a next-generation command and control application incorporating metaverse technologies. They can also seamlessly integrate with IoBT infrastructure and NATO General Vehicle Architecture standards, enhancing their interoperability and mission effectiveness.
Furthermore, the vehicles are designed to support arthropod robots, small unmanned ground vehicles, and drones, serving as integral components of a cohesive operational system. With the flexibility to be transported via various means, including aircraft, amphibious vehicles, and helicopters, these vehicles offer a versatile and mobile solution for defense operations.
TS Tech’s Senior Manager, Uğur Coşkun, likened the vehicles to the “Tesla of the war environment,” highlighting their autonomous capabilities, rapid deployment features, and combat effectiveness enhancements. Coşkun emphasized the collaborative efforts with industry partners to create a cutting-edge product that aligns with modern combat requirements.
The unveiling of these groundbreaking products at SAHA EXPO 2024 signifies a significant milestone for AATG and its partners, as they aim to deliver innovative solutions to the defense sector. The event promises to showcase the latest advancements in defense technology and highlight the collaborative efforts driving progress in the industry.
