Russian Authorities Thwart Ukrainian Sabotage Attempts in Kursk and Belgorod

Russian Forces Repel Ukrainian Sabotage and Reconnaissance Groups
In a recent statement released by the press service of the Russian National Guard (Rosgvardiya), it was reported that Russian troops successfully repelled an attack by Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups near the Tetkino settlement in the Kursk region.
The statement highlighted that Rosgvardiya forces conducted the operation in collaboration with the Russian Armed Forces and the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).
Kursk Governor Roman Starovoyt took to his social media account to inform the public that Russian security forces managed to stop the attacks of Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the Tetkino settlement.
Additionally, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on the Spodaryushino settlement in the Belgorod region was also thwarted. The statement detailed that approximately 195 military personnel, 5 tanks, 4 armored combat vehicles, 3 UR-77 self-propelled mine-clearing rocket launchers, and 3 military construction machines were neutralized as a result of air strikes and artillery fire.
The attempted infiltration of Ukrainian sabotage groups into the Belgorod and Kursk regions on March 12 was met with strong resistance from Russian security forces, preventing any further escalation of the situation.
The decisive action taken by Russian forces underscores their commitment to maintaining stability and security in the region amidst ongoing tensions with Ukraine.
