Rustam Minnikhanov surveys ongoing efforts in Zangilan city
Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation, recently visited the city of Zangilan to observe the ongoing development projects. During his visit, Minnikhanov was briefed on the progress of the construction of the Convention Center in the city. The Convention Center, which spans over 2.2 hectares, will have a capacity of 605 seats.
Following the inspection of the Convention Center, Minnikhanov also inspected the construction site of the Zangilan Mosque. The mosque is being constructed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, with the support of “Pasha Holding” LLC. The foundation stone for the Zangilan Mosque was laid on April 26, 2021, in the presence of President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and their daughter Leyla Aliyeva.
During his tour of Zangilan, Minnikhanov witnessed the devastation caused by the Armenian occupation. The city of Zangilan was previously occupied by Armenian forces but has since been liberated by the Azerbaijani army.
The visit of Rustam Minnikhanov to Zangilan highlights the significant reconstruction efforts taking place in the region.
