Saudi Arabian Security Forces Arrest 15 Islamic State Recruiters

15 individuals linked to the international terrorist organization Islamic State have been arrested in Bishkek and the Chui region, as reported by the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS). The group was actively promoting the extremist ideology of the Islamic State, recruiting young people, and distributing terrorist propaganda materials.

The SCNS stated that a total of 15 individuals were detained, with a significant amount of religious literature found in their possession. It was also revealed that one of the detainees had been recruited through a social network by an IS member from Afghanistan, following instructions to recruit new members.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the distributed materials contained incitements to terrorist activities, as well as calls for hostility and the overthrow of the constitutional order. Training videos on weapons use and improvised explosive devices were also circulated among the group.

Four of the detainees have been placed in pre-trial detention, while the investigation into the activities of the group continues. Authorities are working to dismantle the illegal radical group and prevent further recruitment and dissemination of extremist ideologies.
