The second hearing in the Narin Güran murder case will be held tomorrow
The second hearing in the case of the murder of Narin Güran, who disappeared on August 21 in the Tavşantepe District of the Central Bağlar district and whose lifeless body was found in the İftutmaz Creek on September 8, will be held tomorrow. The detained mother Yüksel, her brother Enes and uncle Salim Güran, and their neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar are being tried for aggravated life imprisonment for the crime of intentional murder.
The public prosecutor has presented his opinion in the case, and the trial of the 4 defendants will continue at the Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court. The lifeless body of Narin Güran was found in İftutmaz Creek after she disappeared on August 21 in the Tavşantepe District of Diyarbakır’s central Bağlar district.
12 people, including mother Yüksel, older brother Enes, uncle Salim Güran, and neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar, were arrested out of the 23 suspects detained in the investigation carried out by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. The indictment prepared for the 4 defendants requests aggravated life imprisonment for the deliberate murder of a child in the event of participation.
The trial of the defendants started on November 7, and the first hearing was postponed to December 26. The public prosecutor submitted a 14-page opinion to the court during the session. Questions surrounding the case and a different perspective on the murder have been raised, with a focus on unlocking the mystery.
