Selin Gurdikyan Represents Turkey at Miss Supranational Pageant
Selin Gurdikyan, one of the triplets of Neşe Erberk, who was crowned Miss Turkey in 1983 and Miss Europe in 1984, is currently representing Turkey at the Miss Supranational pageant in Poland.
The 22-year-old contestant joined the camp along with other participants and attended the opening ceremony. Gurdikyan shared a video on social media, giving insights into the ceremony. She mentioned that when they took the stage, they were asked to provide a brief description of their country and themselves. Gurdikyan proudly talked about Turkey being the only nation in the world that unites two continents. Additionally, she shared an interesting personal detail, revealing that her mother was also a former Miss Turkey and Miss Europe. Gurdikyan expressed her dedication to carry on her mother’s legacy and the legacy of many strong women.
The preparation camp, which began on June 26, will last for three weeks. The competition’s final round is scheduled for July 14.
Throughout the camp, Gurdikyan will participate in various mini competitions, such as the “podium walk” and “the most elegant evening dress.” She will have the privilege of showcasing the designs of four different fashion designers, namely Erol Albayrak, Arzu Kaprol, Cihan Nacar, and Fırat Neziroğlu.
In the Miss Turkey 2022 beauty pageant, Nursena Say was crowned as the first beauty of Turkey. Meanwhile, Selin Erberk Gurdikyan, who secured the third position, is now making a name for herself at the international stage of Miss Supranational.
Standing at 1.78 meters tall, Gurdikyan is a senior medical student at the University of Florida. She is the daughter of Neşe Erberk and Ayk Gurdikyan, and her siblings, who are also triplets, are named Alin and Lara.
Selin Gurdikyan’s journey in the Miss Supranational pageant represents not only her personal ambitions but also a continuation of her family’s successful beauty pageant legacy.
