Seller Arrested for Land Plot Fraud in Tashkent Region
The situation related to the looting of land resources in the city of Tashkent has come to an end, thanks to a joint event that took place recently. According to the report from the MIA Rapid Investigation Department, a collaborative effort between the MIA Criminal Investigation Service, the Department of Combating Corruption and Economic Crimes, and the PGO Department for Combating Economic Crimes led to a breakthrough in this case.
During the event, it was discovered that the 47-year-old founder of the LLC intended to illegally transfer 6.7 hectares of land in the Urta Chirchik district of Tashkent region to another citizen for a significant amount of money. Additionally, he planned to acquire 2 hectares of land from the district administration for a nominal fee, with the promise of getting the necessary documents through his connections in the cadaster department.
The joint operation successfully led to the apprehension of the suspect as he was caught red-handed receiving a portion of the illegal payment at a café in the Yashnabad district. A criminal case has been opened, and an investigation is currently underway to address this issue.
