Serial rapist on the loose in Bishkek
Bishkek- The 24.kg news agency reported today that a 30-year-old man suspected of rape has been detained in Bishkek. The press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Leninsky district confirmed the arrest.
According to reports, on August 17, a woman approached the police and filed a complaint against her acquaintance, alleging that he had raped her in an apartment in the Dzhal microdistrict. The case has been classified under the article “Rape” of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and necessary examinations have been ordered.
Law enforcement officers were able to identify the suspect as 30-year-old E.T., who was reportedly wanted for a similar crime in the past. He has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek, pending further investigation.
