South Korea Donates Four Ambulances to Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations

On February 11, 2025, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan received a generous donation from South Korea in the form of four additional ambulances. This donation was facilitated by the long-term cooperation between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan and Gyeonggi Province Fire Service, South Korea.
The official handover ceremony took place with the head of the International Cooperation Department of the ministry, Kanat Karybai uulu, meeting with representatives of the Korean Social Welfare Foundation GO&DO. The vehicles were officially transferred to the ministry, showcasing the ongoing support and collaboration between the two countries.
This donation follows previous contributions from the Gyeonggi Province Fire Service, with four ambulances handed over in 2022, two in November 2023, and another four in December 2024. The GO&DO Foundation delegation also assessed the condition of previously donated vehicles during their visit and expressed their commitment to further assistance from Seoul to enhance emergency medical care capabilities.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan expressed gratitude for the continuous support from South Korea and looks forward to strengthening their partnership in ensuring the safety and well-being of the Kyrgyz people.
