Turkmen National Conservatory Celebrates Novruz Bayram with Spring-inspired Concert
One of the standout events at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kulieva this month was a captivating performance by the chamber orchestra led by conductor Nury Mukhiyev and his student Kovus Byashimov. The concert was dedicated to the celebration of Novruz Bayram, the spring festival.
The musical program featured a diverse range of pieces including “Destan-concert” by Chary Nurymov, Concertino “Yilgaylar” by Bayram Khudainazarov, as well as works by renowned composers such as Eduard Napravnik and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Despite the standard classical repertoire, the evening was colored with a spring mood.
The orchestra’s rendition of the music was likened to the flow of spring streams, swift and effortless. Each piece seemed to embody the essence of the season, from the tender melodies to the winter landscapes painted by Tchaikovsky. The performance of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, known for its optimism and spiritual uplift, further captured the spirit of spring.
Not only did the music evoke images of spring and nature, but the attire of the musicians added to the vibrant atmosphere. The female musicians in their bright red dresses stood out against the dark tuxedos of their male counterparts, resembling scarlet poppies in a field.
Conductor Nury Mukhiyev and his protege Kovus Byashimov were also inspired by the season, leading the orchestra with passion and energy. Soloists like violinist Aybolek Mukhiyeva and trombonist Dovran Gylydzhov delivered exceptional performances, captivating the audience with their talent and artistry.
The concert hall was filled with magical musical moments, making the audience forget about their daily routines. The talented musicians, under the guidance of Maestro Mukhiyev, delivered a performance that was nothing short of spectacular.
Overall, the concert was a testament to the dedication and hard work of all the musicians involved, especially conductor Nury Mukhiyev, who has earned a reputation as one of the country’s top conductors. His leadership and commitment to the art of music have shaped the orchestra into a powerhouse of talent and creativity.
As the audience left the concert hall, they were filled with a sense of joy and inspiration, a feeling that resonated with the arrival of spring. The performance was not just a celebration of music, but a celebration of the season and the beauty of nature.
