StaffVirtual Expands Operations to Uzbekistan
STAFFVIRTUAL, a prominent outsourcing company based in the Philippines, is now setting its sights on expanding geographically. The company recently announced plans to open an office in Uzbekistan, as reported by the IT Park press service.
During a meeting between the company’s executive director, Hayk Edward Stranathan, and the head of the technology park, Farkhod Ibragimov, discussions were held regarding the opportunities for collaboration with local players in the technology industry. Stranathan outlined STAFFVIRTUAL’s intentions to bring international investment and technology to Uzbekistan, with the company already in the process of registering a legal entity in the country.
The decision to expand into Uzbekistan follows a similar move by Malaysian company UpStream BPO, which recently opened a new office in the Syrdarya region. According to the company’s founder, Ahmed Kayum, the office will cater to business clients in need of essential services to support their operations.
STAFFVIRTUAL specializes in training outsourcing teams in areas such as customer support, IT, and administrative functions. With approximately 1,800 employees in the United States and the Philippines, the company boasts an impressive annual sales figure of over $250 million. This expansion into Uzbekistan signals the company’s commitment to growth and innovation in the outsourcing industry.
