Summer Days: Beach Sunbathing and Sea Swimming
Summer seems to be sticking around in Antalya, despite it being October. Tourists and locals alike are taking advantage of the warm weather, with temperatures reaching 27.7 degrees today.
According to meteorological data, Antalya has been experiencing some of the highest temperatures in Turkey over the past few days. Last Wednesday, the city recorded a temperature of 28.7 degrees, ranking fourth among the hottest cities. The temperature then rose to 30 degrees on Thursday, dropping to 29.2 degrees on Friday, reaching 30.3 degrees on Saturday, and hitting 30.2 degrees yesterday. Today, the temperature has already exceeded 27 degrees at noon.
People in Antalya are making the most of this unexpected extension of summer. Beaches are packed with sunbathers and swimmers, while others are enjoying leisurely walks or bike rides along the coast.
The sunny weather is expected to continue for the next five days in Antalya, giving residents and visitors alike plenty of opportunity to soak up the sun and enjoy the last remnants of summer.
