Supporting Tajikistan Community Initiative Groups: Call for Project Proposals from U.S. Embassy Dushanbe

The United States Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) in Tajikistan is seeking proposals from organizations to support the Community Initiative Groups (CIG) of Tajikistan in reducing drug demand. This project aims to develop and implement strategy and action plans in 22 communities in Tajikistan.

The eligible applicant should focus on addressing prescription medication abuse and synthetic drug use by developing comprehensive strategy and action plans for the CIGs. They are also expected to conduct public awareness campaigns to educate communities about the risks of drug abuse and synthetic drugs, as well as promote collaboration among government agencies and CIGs for sustained drug demand reduction.

All proposals must be submitted electronically to BobokalonovAA@state.gov by March 31, 2024. Required supplementary documents include Budget Template, Budget Narrative, INL Scope of Work Template, INL Project Risk Analysis, INL Performance Indicator Reference Sheet, INL Applicant Pre-Award Risk Survey, and INL Change Map Template.
