
Survey: Over Half of Kyrgyzstanis Planning Job Change in 2025

Almost half of Kyrgyzstanis plan to change jobs in 2025, according to a survey conducted by HeadHunter recruiting agency. The study revealed that 47 percent of employed citizens in the country are looking to switch careers in the upcoming year.
Rakhima Makhmudova, Marketing and PR Manager at HeadHunter, reported that the highest percentage of employees planning to change jobs are in the transport and logistics sector, with 64 percent considering a career move. Other sectors with a high percentage of job seekers include trade and sales (58 percent) and production and agriculture (54 percent).
On the other hand, the lowest number of individuals wanting to switch jobs are in the IT sector (14 percent) and among civil servants (11 percent).
The main reasons cited for wanting to change jobs include financial instability of employers (69 percent), lack of a social package and guarantees (45 percent), and unsatisfactory working conditions and overtime (37 percent).
Interestingly, 15 percent of survey participants expressed a desire to pursue freelance work, with professions in marketing, design, and programming being popular choices among young people.
Additionally, one out of every six respondents is considering the possibility of working abroad for new job opportunities and experiences.
