Tragic Deaths: Father and Three Children Succumb to Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in Kashkadarya

A tragic incident in Karshi city, Kashkadarya region, has resulted in the deaths of a father and his three children due to carbon monoxide poisoning. The heartbreaking event took place on December 17, around 3:40 PM, in a residential home on Nurbog Street, located in the Kunchikar neighborhood.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the deceased individuals were a 46-year-old man identified as B.T. and his three children, T.A. (18 years old), S.A. (16 years old), and M.A. (10 years old). They were exposed to carbon monoxide leaking from their home heating system, which ultimately led to their untimely demise.
Initial investigations have revealed that the modern dual-circuit heating boiler installed in the basement was improperly connected to a shared ventilation system. This connection allowed carbon monoxide to seep into the home, causing the fatal poisoning of the family.
In response to this tragic incident, the Karshi city prosecutor’s office has initiated a pre-investigation inquiry to determine the circumstances that led to the deaths of the father and his three children. It is a heartbreaking reminder of the importance of proper ventilation and maintenance of heating systems to prevent such tragedies from occurring.
