Tashkent Court Cancels International Digital University’s License
The Tashkent Interdistrict Economic Court has made a significant decision regarding the operating license of International Digital University LLC. The license, which was issued in 2022, has been revoked by the court following a ruling on October 10, 2024. This announcement was made by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.
According to the court’s findings, International Digital University failed to adhere to the terms and conditions set out in its license, leading to the cancellation of its operating permit. The license, which was numbered 038673, had been granted on September 13, 2022, enabling the institution to provide non-governmental educational services.
International Digital University, also known as IDU, was established in Tashkent in 2021. The university’s main goal was to provide a modern education experience with an emphasis on innovation and the training of specialists for the digital economy.
This decision by the Tashkent Interdistrict Economic Court marks a significant development in the educational landscape of Uzbekistan, highlighting the importance of compliance with licensing regulations in the country’s educational sector.
