Teenage Girl Dies from Injuries in Jenin Attack in Israel
Israeli attack in Jenin results in the death of a 15-year-old Palestinian boy
A 15-year-old Palestinian boy, Sedil Nagnagiyye, has lost his life due to injuries sustained in an attack carried out by Israeli soldiers in the city of Jenin, located in the northern West Bank. The Palestinian Ministry of Health released a statement confirming the tragic incident.
This attack has further increased the death toll to seven Palestinians, including two children, who lost their lives during the assault by Israeli forces in Jenin. The incident occurred on June 19, when an “Apache” type helicopter was used by the Israeli army to carry out the attacks. Alongside the fatalities, at least 66 Palestinians were injured, while 7 Israeli soldiers were also harmed during the clashes.
These recent violent actions by Israel are adding to the already mounting casualties in the region. Since the beginning of this year, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank and the airstrikes on the besieged Gaza Strip has now reached 174.
The situation in the occupied territories remains highly volatile and tensions continue to escalate. The international community has called for an immediate end to the violence and a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. However, these pleas seem to fall on deaf ears as the violence and loss of innocent lives persist.
