The Man Who Kept a Diary of His Murderous Intentions

Prague Shaken by Deadly University Shooting
The capital of the Czech Republic, Prague, was rocked by a tragic and deadly armed attack at the city’s university center. A student, David Kozak, opened fire at the terrace of Karl University’s Faculty of Philosophy, killing 14 people, including himself.
The incident has left the city in shock, with striking details emerging about the attack. It is alleged that Kozak had rehearsed the massacre and had written out the plan in his diary. The police believe that the attack was not related to terrorism and that Kozak was inspired by similar massacres outside the country.
Kozak, born in 1999, was neutralized by a police operation and was later found dead. The university was thrown into panic during the attack, with the administration urging students and staff to lock themselves in classrooms. Some students even resorted to hiding on the roof of the building to avoid being targeted by bullets.
It was also revealed that Kozak had made chilling notes in his diary about an armed attack that took place in Russia last month, indicating that he was possibly being inspired by previous violent incidents. Shockingly, Kozak wrote, “I want to commit a shooting at school and possibly commit suicide,” openly sharing his plan on the messaging application Telegram.
Even more horrifying are the reports that Kozak killed his father in the family home shortly before the university attack. Czech police are also considering the possibility that he is responsible for the deaths of a father and his daughter found in the Klanovicky forest near Prague only five days after these chilling words were written.
As details about the investigation continue to emerge, security measures have been tightened in the Prague center and a day of national mourning has been declared in the country. This tragic event has left the city and the entire nation reeling from the senseless violence.
