"The Most Charming Girl – 2025" Contest Winners Announced
The final round of the "The Most Charming Girl – 2025" contest took place on March 14 at the Vatan Cinema and Concert Center in the capital city. Organized by the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the contest was open to schoolgirls in grades 2-4 from schools across the country. The winners were revealed in the evening news release of "Vatan" on March 15.
In the final round, participants competed in three categories. The first category involved musical performances celebrating themes such as the Motherland, childhood, friendship, peace, and a healthy lifestyle. The second category saw the girls showcase national costumes and jewelry artistically and poetically. Lastly, contestants demonstrated traditional handicrafts handed down from their grandmothers, such as knitting, embroidery, and carpet weaving.
The winners of the contest were as follows:
- Grand prize: Nurgozel Berdiyeva, a 2nd-grade student from Secondary School No. 99 in Ashgabat.
- 1st place: Aynazli Dzhepbarova, a 4th-grade student from Secondary School No. 7 in Dashoguz, specialized in foreign languages.
- 2nd place: Gulnar Gurbangulyeva from Specialized Educational Complex No. 1 in Arkadag, and Aygozel Mukhammedova from Secondary School No. 29 in Sayat etrap.
- 3rd place: Gulnaz Shamyradova, Melek Esenova, and Arzuv Amanova from schools across different regions.
Additionally, contestants who stood out were recognized in various categories such as "Owner of a Velvet Voice", "Girl in the Best National Jewelry", "The Most Expressive Girl", "Patriot Girl", "The Most Artistic Girl", "Girl with a Melodic Voice", and "Girl with a Charming Voice". All winners were honored with certificates of achievement and valuable gifts provided by the organizers.
The event was captured on national TV channels, showcasing the talent and charm of young girls from Turkmenistan.
