
The Nation’s Garden Flourishes with Good News from Rize Minister Institution

Turkey’s Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Minister, Murat Kurum, attended the “Rize People’s Meeting” program at Üsküdar Municipality Blue Hall, where he shared updates on the government’s development projects in Rize. Kurum stated that Rize is always supported by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and that the city’s value is increased by government investments. Kurum also shared that they are constructing a national garden that is projected to be completed on May 10, with a total area of 391,000 square meters in Iyidere and Güneysu. Additionally, the minister highlighted that they have completed the construction of 2,903 social residences, shops, and social equipment with a current investment value of 3.2 billion Turkish liras through the TOKI presidency. The government is also planning to continue construction projects for social housing worth five billion Turkish liras as well as hundreds of village houses, mosques, and offices. The government is also currently conducting urban transformation works in almost every district of Rize, with a total area of one million square meters, to improve the city’s infrastructure.
