Toktogul Reservoir Water Volume Surpasses Last Year’s Level
On January 4, 2025, the volume of water in the Toktogul reservoir in Kyrgyzstan reached 11.096 billion cubic meters, according to data published by Electric Stations JSC. This marks an increase from the volume of 10.347 billion cubic meters recorded a year ago, with a difference of 749 million cubic meters.
Currently, the water inflow into the reservoir is measured at 196 cubic meters per second, while the outflow stands at 574 cubic meters per second. This data indicates a positive trend in water levels, which is crucial for ensuring water security and supply for various purposes in the region.
