Töre: Nature and Sports Lovers’ Perfect Project – BRTK
The President of the Assembly of the Republic, Zorlu Töre, recently attended the opening of the Tatlısu Bicycle and Walking Path Project, which was implemented by Tatlısu Municipality. In his speech at the opening ceremony, Töre expressed his enthusiasm for sports, particularly cycling, and emphasized the importance of providing facilities for nature, hiking, and sports enthusiasts.
Töre also highlighted the significance of such projects for the country, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed, including Motherland Turkey. He also addressed the potential of sports, particularly cycling, in breaking embargoes and increasing the visibility of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Moreover, Töre shared his delight in the Turkish Cypriot Cycling Federation’s membership in the European Cycling Federation, emphasizing the positive impact it will have on the TRNC’s sports presence. The event showcased the commitment to promoting sports and outdoor activities in the region, furthering the TRNC’s recognition on a global scale.
