Trabzonspor begins transfer talks with Bruno Petkovic
Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan has begun his transfer studies ahead of the upcoming season in an effort to build a strong team. Technical director Nenad Bjelica has presented his report to the team and the transfer process has begun. Doğan has already started negotiations in line with Bjelica’s report, with plans for eight transfers, including right and left back, two defenders, one front libero, one central midfielder, one wing, and one striker. Most of the transfers are expected to be made before the camp period begins.
The first candidate for the striker position is Bruno Petkovic, a 28-year-old Croatian football player who currently plays for Dinamo Zagreb. Although Petkovic has a contract with his team for one more year, Doğan has already made his first attempt to acquire him. Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk, who was previously mentioned as a possible transfer, is not on Trabzonspor’s agenda. Meanwhile, Mislav Orsic, the wing player of the English Premier League team Southampton, was suggested by managers to the burgundy blue club, but it was deemed too costly.
Trabzonspor’s goal is to build a strong team for the upcoming season, and with a strategic transfer process in place, they hope to achieve their objective.
