Tragic Accident in Kocaeli: Pedestrians Hit by Skidding Vehicle
A traffic accident in the Çayırova district of Kocaeli resulted in injuries to four people, including two pedestrians and two drivers. The incident took place at an intersection on Muammer Aksoy Street in the Atatürk Neighborhood of Çayırova. Two cars, one with license plate 41 VB 790 and the other with license plate 41 KRP 497, collided at the intersection. The impact caused the car with license plate 41 VB 790 to hit a parked car with license plate 41 ADH 827 and then strike pedestrians SG and EK on the sidewalk.
Emergency services, including the police, fire department, and medical teams, responded to the scene and transported the injured individuals to nearby hospitals for treatment. The police have initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident.
