Tragic Death of 4-Year-Old Boy Riding a Bike
Yesterday afternoon, a tragic accident occurred on G-725th Street in Yeşilkent Neighborhood, resulting in the loss of 4-year-old Seyfican İnce’s life. Seyfican, along with her mother Halime İnce and her nephew, was returning from shopping when the incident occurred. As they attempted to cross the sidewalk, tragedy struck.
While mother Halime İnce was holding her nephew’s hand, Seyfican İnce, who was riding her bike slightly behind her mother, was hit by a service minibus with the license plate 34 LGC 139. The driver of the minibus, Fevzi Çağlar, did not see the child until the last moment, causing a fatal collision. The mother’s screams filled the air as she frantically rescued her child from beneath the tire.
Despite the efforts of the minibus driver and bystanders to assist, Seyfican İnce was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the minibus was taken into custody, and legal proceedings have begun.
Eyewitness Nurettin Karakoç, who observed the heart-wrenching accident, expressed his sorrow over the loss of life and highlighted the dangerous nature of the intersection where the incident took place. Uncle Mustafa İnce echoed these sentiments, stressing the need for caution and accountability in such situations.
