Tragic Deaths from Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in Karakalpakstan
Three people, including a young married couple and their guest, have tragically passed away from carbon monoxide poisoning in the city of Nukus, Karakalpakstan. The incident, which occurred on October 18 at around 7:51 a.m., involved a 25-year-old man identified as A.Y., his 23-year-old wife M.Y., and a 27-year-old guest A.T. The three individuals were found lifeless at their residence in Apartment 33 of Building 3/6 in Nukus District 23.
Medical personnel from the Emergency Medical Center of Karakalpakstan were the first to report the incident to local law enforcement, attributing carbon monoxide poisoning as the reason behind the deaths. Subsequent investigations by authorities confirmed that the victims had succumbed to carbon monoxide exposure, believed to have leaked from the boiler exhaust.
