Tragic Death of 18-Year-Old Soldier Raises Questions
A young man, who was just 18 years old, tragically lost his life while serving in the military. Otabek Tursunaliyev, born on August 21, 2004, had been enlisted in the military on April 14, 2023, and took his military oath on May 14. However, his life was cut short while serving in one of the military units of the National Guard in the Jizzakh region.
On May 18, Tursunaliyev contacted his father and informed him that he was being sent to a place called Dashtabad, along with 18 other soldiers, for military training. However, on June 7, he was admitted to the military hospital in Samarkand. He told his family that he was being treated for a stomach flu. Unfortunately, on June 15, Tursunaliyev’s father received the devastating news of his son’s death.
According to the official death certificate, Tursunaliyev’s cause of death was listed as cardiovascular atherosclerotic disease. However, the family of the deceased does not believe this explanation and questions the true cause of his passing.
The National Guard press service has stated that a thorough medical examination is being conducted to determine the exact cause of the soldier’s death. They have assured that detailed information will be provided once the examination results are available.
Tursunaliyev’s family and the wider community are eagerly awaiting the outcomes of the examination to shed light on the circumstances surrounding his untimely death. As the investigation unfolds, further updates will be shared with the public.
