Turkey Invited to Participate in Creation of Industrial Zone in Chui Region
On February 17, 2025, during a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Iskender Asylkulov, and the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of Turkey, Muhammet Kasım Gönüllü, Turkey was invited to participate in the creation of an industrial zone in Chui region.
The meeting aimed to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation in the industrial sector, with a focus on the establishment of an industrial zone in Chui region. Kyrgyzstan extended an invitation to the Turkish side to consider taking part in this project. In April, representatives from Turkey are scheduled to visit the proposed land plot for the construction of the industrial zone.
Furthermore, discussions were held with representatives of the Jewelers and Watchmakers Association of Ankara. A presentation was given on the cooperation opportunities available for Turkish jewelry companies, with a particular emphasis on attracting Turkish technologies to enhance jewelry production in Kyrgyzstan.
