
Turkish Cypriot Basketball Player Erten Gazi Remembers the Champion Angels

Turkish Basketball Player, Erten Gazi, Visits Champion Angels Survival Association
Turkish Cypriot basketball player, Erten Gazi, who currently plays for Anadolu Efes, one of the teams in the Basketball Super League in Turkey, recently paid a visit to the Champion Angels Survival Association.
During his visit, Erten expressed his deep sadness and emphasized the importance of the Champion Angels, who tragically lost their lives on February 6, as the future of youth sports in the country.
Erten Gazi also stated that he was fully committed to supporting the association both financially and emotionally. He expressed his hope for justice to be served in honor of the fallen athletes.
President of the Association for the Survival of Champion Angels, Ruşen Karakaya, expressed his gratitude for Erten’s visit and stated, “Erten is a Turkish Cypriot and a graduate of TMK. If our children were still with us, they would be just like him. His visit has given us strength.”
The Champion Angels Survival Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and ensuring the safety and well-being of young athletes. The association works tirelessly to prevent any tragedies similar to the one that took the lives of the Champion Angels.
