A considerable part of the discussions centered on expanding trade and economic ties, with China being Turkmenistan’s largest foreign economic partner for many years. The parties also acknowledged the role of science, education, culture, art, and sports in fostering closer bonds between the friendly peoples of Turkmenistan and China.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both delegations expressed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in key areas of mutual interest.

Simultaneously, the 10th meeting of the Subcommittee on Security Cooperation of the Turkmen-Chinese Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee took place. Key officials from both countries discussed the implementation of previous agreements and outlined joint activities in the security realm for the near future.

The parties reaffirmed their determination to strengthen security cooperation and signed the Protocol of the 10th meeting of the Subcommittee on Security Cooperation, underscoring their shared commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region.
