Turkmen Fighter Emerges Victorious at WWFC 24 MMA Tournament in Kyiv
Kyiv recently hosted the World Warriors Fighting Championship 24 (WWFC 24), an international mixed martial arts tournament that was part of the new season of the WWFC League. Fighters from Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and Moldova came together in the octagon for a night of thrilling competition. The event was broadcast live by Kyivstar TV, allowing fans from around the world to witness the action.
One standout fighter of the night was Babageldi Halymov from Turkmenistan, who competed in the 83.9 kg weight class. In a tense and uncompromising match against Ukrainian athlete Yakov Anufriyev, Babageldi emerged victorious with a decisive win in the first round by a painful knockout. Hailing from Gengeshlik Galkynysh, Hodjambaz district, Lebap velayat in Turkmenistan, Babageldi Halymov is a graduate of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” and has showcased his skills in MMA tournaments and jiu-jitsu championships.
Prior to his success at the WWFC 24 tournament, Babageldi Halymov also claimed an early victory over Yevgen Drobot at the international professional mixed martial arts tournament “FCFC Fight Night 7” in Kyiv. Representing Turkmenistan in this esteemed competition, Babageldi proudly raised the national flag of Turkmenistan in the traditional telpek.
