
Turkmenistan and Mongolia Discuss High-Level Visits by Telephone

A Telephone Conversation Between Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Mongolia
On Friday, February 14, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Batmunkh Battsetseg. The discussion focused on a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation, with a particular emphasis on the preparation of visits at the highest state level.
According to the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, the two diplomats also discussed strengthening the legal framework for cooperation between Turkmenistan and Mongolia. They also considered opportunities for collaboration within international organizations, with a special mention of the United Nations.
The President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, made his first state visit to Turkmenistan in October 2024, marking an important milestone in the relationship between the two countries.
