Turkmenistan and Tajikistan Scientists Identify Prospects for Cooperation
Tajikistan and Turkmenistan strengthen scientific and technical cooperation
The National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan recently hosted a meeting to discuss scientific and technical cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. The meeting was attended by various representatives from Turkmenistan, including the Head of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, Allaberdi Ashirov.
The parties discussed the introduction of modern educational technologies, the development of renewable energy industries, and the importance of studying the biodiversity of medicinal plants and natural remedies. The guests were also treated to exhibitions of books and publications from both academies.
The meeting concluded with the adoption of a resolution to further strengthen scientific, educational, and cultural cooperation between the two countries. This event took place on the eve of the first state visit of President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Tajikistan.
The discussions held during this meeting will give a new impetus to the development of cooperation between the scientific communities of the two countries. Moving forward, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan will continue to work together in the pursuit of scientific and technological advancements.
