Turkmenistan and TRT Avaz TV Channel Strengthen Partnership in the Orient
Ambassador of Turkmenistan meets with Head of TRT Avaz TV Channel to Discuss Cooperation
On March 18, 2025, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to The Republic of Turkey, Mekan Ishangulyev, had a meeting with the head of TRT Avaz TV Channel, Yücel Kılıçkaya. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and TRT Avaz TV Channel and to explore opportunities for further partnership.
Both parties acknowledged the positive progress in their cooperation and expressed their mutual interest in strengthening their partnership on a more systematic basis. They focused on upcoming international events to be held in Turkmenistan and abroad in celebration of the announcement of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust, in accordance with a UN General Assembly Resolution. The discussions also highlighted the importance of Turkmenistan’s policy of positive Neutrality, which the country is celebrating the 30th anniversary of this year.
During the meeting, special attention was given to the preparation of television programs and segments dedicated to the UN’s International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality.
The collaboration between Turkmenistan and TRT Avaz TV Channel is expected to result in informative and engaging content that will help raise awareness about peace and trust on a global scale.
